Sudip will run a 2-hour workshop: Lean IT Simulation – Transforming IT Processes with Lean Principles

The workshop is a simulation of a typical IT Application Support Process (relevant for Agile also). It demonstrates all lean principles and how effectively those are used to improve the process in sustainable way. This simulation game creates an understanding of how all the pieces of Lean fit together to increase flow, reduce costs and increase revenue.
The objectives of the workshop:
– Create an end-to-end process picture of the before and after lean deployment in an IT/Agile Organization.
– Introduce concept of lean deployment as a business strategy.
– Demonstrate the use of lean tools for reducing inventory, waste, and cycle time of all IT/Agile processes, thereby improving customer satisfaction, profits and increase revenue.
– To understand and embrace lean tools as one of the most effective strategies for improvement by World-Class Organizations.

Biography

20 years of professional experience in Digital industries managing large and complex business, process and delivery transformations, large IT service delivery accounts and IT systems integration projects. Sudip is currently working as Global Head – QPEX for Williams Lea Tag and taking care of the organization’s Quality and Process Excellence, Operational Excellence and Innovation Journey.

He is certified SAFe Agilist, a recognized Lean Expert by Asian Productivity Organization – Japan, Quality Council of India and National Productivity Council – India. He is ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and IBM Certified Lean Coach.

Sudip has mentored many big Transformation programs for some leading global IT companies in last 15 years; delivering improved cash flow & profitability, increased win rate, sales engagement process, scaled Agile, delivery transformation through Automation & RPA, Industrialization etc. He has also groomed many candidates to become successful Transformation Leads and Consultants in the industry.
